Fresh Home Theater Design

When a roommate came out of left field with news he would soon be leaving due to an inability to pay, I was mad. Who wouldn’t be? The news meant those remaining in our apartment would have to find someone new. There was no telling how long that would take and in the end we’d be footing the bill. The other problem was the roommate leaving owned much of the living room furniture. He came on hard times, lost his job and simply could not afford the rent anymore. We found a renter after the fact quicker than expected. That was a good thing. Our living room is pretty barren right now until we find a new couch.

There is a silver lining. I get to redesign the surround sound speakers to my liking. With a new couch and seating position the home theater will get a breath of fresh air. The widescreen HDTV will stay in place but the speakers will have a new setup. That leaves more room to fix any sound problems we had prior. Big sound, a new roommate and new living room setup all add up to a fresh start.

Aviation in general is amazing but watching Air Force jets buzz across the sky is probably one of the coolest things a normal person gets to see. I love movies like Top Gun as much as history based shows on what our Air Force used to fly routinely. Our widescreen HDTV is a great source for learning about the world’s aviation. There is plenty of programming on the subject. Once in a while its nice seeing things live instead of in front of the home theater. When I heard about an airshow this weekend it did not take long to get the friends involved.

The show is down south but well worth the drive. It is one of the most prestigious air shows on the west coast. All of the big planes are out either showing off in the air or parked on the runway for visitors. I cannot wait to see all these massive machines up close and personal. Today I want to brush up on military jet knowledge. Hopefully there is something on the widescreen HDTV.

The New Orleans Saints came to San Francisco last night with the tools to leave with a decisive victory. The 49ers lost to the Seahawks uncharacteristically in week one and the Saints proved why they won the Super Bowl the year prior. I sat down in front of the widescreen HDTV for kickoff and watched up until halftime. It seemed apparent who had this game in the bag. On instinct I flipped the widescreen HDTV back over from the video game I started playing at half to the game. It was close. The football magic pulled me back in. By the fourth quarter each team was leaving everything they had on the field. Reggie Bush had been playing like a guy who deserved the Heisman trophy.

After a punt was swatted down, Bush leaped for the open ball. In the process he broke his fibula. I jumped up at the home theater when the staff had to come out to get him. He is one of my fantasy running backs. On the bench this week, he’ll be going back into the free agent pool today. It was a hard fought battle the Saints came away with by just three but it sucks seeing a great player fall over a widescreen HDTV.

This is for many great reasons, too. First off the bat, the LCD widescreen HDTV that I have is brilliantly lit, and offers a high resolution that just makes the movies that I watch and the TV shows really shine. For that matter, it is pretty hard to beat the awesome Xbox 360 games that I so greatly enjoy playing on my sweet LCD widescreen HDTV these days either. But now, come the start of the new NFL season, you can bet that I will be dedicating a vast majority of my free time during the weekends to watching the many different matchups on my LCD widescreen HDTV. I am so giddy that the NFL and the NCAA seasons are finally under way—because this really means that I am in for some great times with my best buds and some intense football action!

By far the most impressive act was a cute, blond haired ten-year-old girl. When she walked onto the stage all I knew was that she would be performing a classic opera number. Standing four feet tall, she belted out notes that make chills go down my spine just thinking about it now. The common image of an opera singer is someone who’s overweight with an ultra powerful voice. This little girl couldn’t have weighed more than 60 pounds and sounded like the best in the world. She will be a staple in the opera world from here on out. It doesn’t matter if she is cut next round. I stared at the widescreen HDTV in complete disbelief the entire time. Check it out below and turn up the surround sound speakers if you have them.

It is amazing what is possible. She is the real deal. This little girl is an example of why I bought a home theater online. The sound that came into our living room last night is something I won’t forget. America does have talent.

It has been all about kicking back on the couch, flipping through movies on our widescreen HDTV and relaxing. That is the point of Sunday. Plenty of people subscribe to the lazy Sunday attitude. The original plan was a nice ride with a couple of buddies in a local mountain but we found out the road is closed from mudslides. I woke up in the wrong mind state for a motorcycle jaunt anyway. Once the ride was called off, I got in front of the widescreen HDTV and called it quits. Apart from a trip to the sandwich shop, my only plan for the rest of the day is watch a few new shows and go to bed.

Right now, a couple of friends are jamming out with a video game so I’m hanging back in my room. Since we only have on guitar their playing the same song twice for highest score. I’ve heard all the songs before so it’s too much to handle over the home theater. I’ll be back on the couch sooner than later.

I have been fan of both of these sports ever since I was little kid, and would sit on my father’s lap and watch them with him on Sunday afternoons. These days, I have a really great LCD widescreen HDTV that mounted to the wall in my living room and really is the epicenter and staple of my home theater system. The football games really come to life like you could never imagine them before when you have the pleasure of enjoying watching them on the awesome LCD widescreen HDTVs that they are making these days; especially if you get high definition TV programming for the games, which I do. This year, I am not so sure what teams will be the ones on top at the end of the season. But one thing is most certain: I will be cheering on my favorite teams on my LCD widescreen HDTV on the weekends!

I have to extend a bounty of thanks to the innovative company that designed the widescreen HDTV that I have in my living room, because it simply shreds and has added just so much joy to my daily life and for so many reasons, too! Aside from the obvious things that my widescreen HDTV has to offer, such as unsurpassed quality on the screen, a brilliant contrast and 1080p clarity ratio, and the fact that it looks more like an art piece mounted on the walls in my living room, there are other reasons why it rocks! All of that aside, however, there is one thing that really makes my widescreen HDTV sweet: playing my favorite of Xbox 360 video games on it! Perhaps it is the wide 42” viewing screen that makes those games really come to life like never before. Or maybe it is because the graphics are so intense and vibrant when displayed on my widescreen HDTV. One thing is for certain, after owning a widescreen HDTV and seeing all that it can, I don’t think I could ever go back!

Widescreen HDTV Helping Build Firework Excitement

http://www.hometheaterandsurroundsound.com/2010/July/Widescreen-HDTV-Helping-Build-Firework-Excitement-.htm

Last night, a show about pyrotechnics and fireworks came on a favorite science channel. It basically followed a single fireworks company in their preparation for a Fourth of July show out on the water. It is pretty amazing that they fired $8,000 a minute of fireworks from a floating barge. The owners of this business were old, large and hairy but I could see the glimmer in their eye when playing with fireworks. They were like kids again when the shells began exploding in the air. The colors almost jumped off our widescreen HDTV. Paired with a home theater, the show had me chomping at the bit for Sunday. It could not come soon enough.

I do not care what happens this weekend as long as I see a fireworks display. I bet there will be more shows like this on our widescreen HDTV before Independence Day. If Southern California didn’t have a ban on personal fireworks, I‘d be out there right now, throwing firecrackers. For now, I’ll leave the explosions to the surround sound speakers. Here is to a fantastic weekend.

DVD Player Recorder for His Birthday

What’s Playing On My Home Theater – Summertime Track

http://www.hometheaterandsurroundsound.com/2010/June/Whats-Playing-On-My-Home-Theater--Summertime-Track.htm

For those looking for a new song to rock out to as the weather heats up, I have the perfect track. Attached below is Stare Into the Sun by Graffiti 6. This is the only cut I’ve heard from this band and if the rest are as good, the album should be a real hit. They are a European band with a cool vocal distortion paired with an uplifting electric piano in the background heard below. I like it because it has an old school feel. It sounds like something that could have come out in the late sixties minus all the electronic components.

Summer officially kicks off at the end of this month. Many of us are going to be spending time outside of work around music. This song sounds great on my home theater and is the perfect way to kick off the season. If it gets your feet tapping on the computer, just wait until all the instruments tie into surround sound speakers. I bought my home theater online to listen to music as the artist intended it. Mission accomplished.
